What is Animal Rehabilitation? What is included?

What is included?
All Mobile Animal Rehab Services are provided through a fully certified animal rehabilitation practitioner in the comfort and convenience of your own home.
Step 1: Contact us to schedule an appointment
Step 2: Mobile Animal Rehab Services facilitates getting a referral for rehabilitation from your veterinary team. This referral helps us gather pertinent medical information about your pet and get medical clearance from your veterinary team for rehabilitation.
Step 3: Once the veterinary referral is received, then an initial assessment of your pet is completed.
Step 4: Once the initial assessment is completed and the goals of rehabilitation are discussed together, an individualized treatment plan is developed and implemented for the specific needs of your pet.
Initial Assessment

Scheduled after receiving a veterinary referral from your veterinarian

Includes a full head to toe examination of your pet including an evaluation of your pet’s movement, spinal and joint function, strength, coordination and other physical abilities and properties.

Enables our animal rehabilitation practitioner to determine the impact of an injury, degenerative or inflammatory condition or disability and to formulate a rehabilitation diagnosis.
Treatment Plans
(up to 30 minutes)

Designed based on initial assessment findings and unique needs of your pet

Includes modalities such as manual therapy (e.g., joint mobilizations and stretching), electrotherapies (e.g., Class 3b LASER, neuromuscular electrical stimulation, and magnetic field therapy) and therapeutic exercise programs.

Delivered at home in a friendly, safe environment for your pets using a “fear free” approach
